Unlike my other write-ups, this will be a little more casual. I realized that I often mention projects in passing that I’ve worked on but don’t have a dedicated write-up for. This is a collection of those projects, with brief descriptions, and a few images.

Drone

I built this quadcopter in 2016 for a photography class independent study. I chose “Areal Photography” as the topic, thus built the drone to take aerial photos.

Photography

I’ve been taking photos since I was a kid, and photography classes through high school. There were times when I considered pursuing photography as a career, but was worried that turning a beloved hobby into a job would make it feel less like art.

Here are just a few of my favorite photos/videos.

A Timelapse of the Calwood Fire in Colorado

I hadn’t much experience with timelapses, but I was able to capture this video of the Calwood Fire in Colorado. It’s created from stills captured at an interval which caused some difficulty both in lighting consistency and the meer number of frames.
